  • Social media-based mental health intervention for adolescents is a hot topic in foreign research and practice, but this intervention has not been widely adopted in China, and there is a lack of sufficient reference in terms of theoretical application, research tools, and key aspects. Through combing foreign literature, this review explores the positive effects of social media on adolescent mental health, adolescent online behaviors, and the current situation and problems of mental health promotion to provide theoretical, conceptual, and practical approaches for the development of mental health promotion and enhancement in China.
