Abstract: Children and adolescents spend most of their time in school, and good recreational soccer (RS) is beneficial to the healthy physical and mental development of children and adolescents. The review mainly discusses the effects of RS on the physical and mental health of children and adolescents, such as body composition, physical fitness, cardiovascular function, bone mass and muscle function, cognition and social interaction, so as to provide a theoretical basis for building school RS environment that is conducive to the health of children and adolescents.
